An example of America's first Half Dollar. It is admittedly in quite low grade but the all-important date is plainly visible. AG-3 about right?
AG-3 for the Flowing Hair Dollars is clear enough to identify. And yours certainly qualifies. I’d be st a G-8 for sure and maybe even a 10. The ends of the hair are more than recognizable but the hair details are gone. A wonderful example. I’ll pm you with my address as it’s only 87 days until Christmas and this would be a great addition to my collection.
I think G-04. I would have called it G-06 but for the discoloration on obverse at S4 and the rim nick at S2. To my mind, these are just are bit more that can be called normal for the grade but clearly not enough to give the coin a details grade. The reverse looks like a bulged die.
Good details because I'm not sure if the dark spot over the fourth star is strictly on the surface of the coin. If it is on the surface, Good-4.
