I gave ChatGPT the exact same images used in his article, and if you search for "counterfeit 1901-s barber quarter", the article is the top search result (at least on duckduckgo). Would it recognize a fake trade dollar with the wrong reverse type? Or a die pair that didn't exist for the year on the coin? Or even the "look" of a counterfeit? I doubt it. Try it and see?
