Bought this coin this month at HJB. Even though the reverse is flatly struck I like Geta's portrait, who was murdered at the age of 22 either by his brother Caracalla or by Caracalla's centurions. Homonoia either seated or standing, holding a patera (libation bowl) over a flaming altar and a cornucopia or scepter, represents civic harmonyHowever, it doesn't seem to apply for poor Geta. I have just one coin of his. It's a little rough, but it's from what seems to have been the least prolific of the Decapolis mints.
