    Yep, it's a small date! I don't have the proof, but did score an UNC in a stack of 70 mint sets.

    Thanks all for the reassurance. I was fairly confident that it was. Then to find a '81S type II in the same box:woot:. I did look for an unc. '70S small date and a '60 proof small date, but no such luck.
