It’s dated 1865 so it qualifies as one. A decent looking three cent piece also known as a Trime. Over 11 million minted so not to rare. I’ve owned this coin for 15 years so a definite winner.

While not a trime, they were the original "nickel", called that before the copper nickel five cent piece was introduced.
