I like the color of that coin. I'd top out the grade at VF-30 max, but I'd probably like it better at 25. You got a good deal on it, but understand the value is hurt by the rim nick at K8 on the reverse, and the strike is terrible. The strength of the elements is important, especially on coins in this grade. I don't know anything about varieties on these, so I can't help you there. If it is a scarce variety, that is going to help the premium of course.
noticed the nick too. Looked through Grellmans book and don't believe it's a scarce variety. Thought obverse looked a bit stronger than reverse as far as sharpness.
