Close am or wide am ?

I have two 1998 in the a.m. one is closer than the other so unclear and if this one is a wide am or a close am

Post an image of STATES and the whole reverse please. Just the AM is often misleading.

 

Looks like a close am to me.

 

When I used to do a lot of penny searching, I would get myself confused. However, when I found a wide AM of either 2000 or 1998, I knew instantly and did not have to guess. I am fairly confident that this is a close AM, as Jeffjay has already stated.

 

When the M is perfectly centered between the A and the E it's considered a Wide AM.

That is not a close AM at all. IMHO

 

Looks to be a close AM, but as KBBPLL stated post the whole reverse to be sure.
