Finally got a decent (hardly used) copy of a book I've been wanting. The dust jacket is in fair condition but the nice surprise is what appears to be a two page publishers letter stuck inside.
Sure it ain't the mysterious and notorious quartermaster? Fun find on your part , my friend. Where had? Antiquarian book shop? Thrift store? I've found much worthy material at thrift shops....
This one was offered online. I've found some really good books at thrift stores, garage sales, etc. I used to live reasonably close to the flagship store of Half Priced Books and would find some goods there as well. This book had a couple of small rips in the jacket. When I opened the book, the letter was folded and stuck inside the jacket rear fold.
