Not really. That piece with the Merriam ad and the dog's head is rated as an R-4, 201 to 500 known. I'd say it's somewhere in the 200 to 300 range. I had four of them when I was dealer. I kept the best one. I wish I had kept the other three LOL.

This is a good deal rarer. This brass salamander token is rated as an R-8, 5 to 10 known. I'd say say it's more like 15 to 20.

This one belonged to a New England collector who belonged to the local clubs of which I was also a member. When he passed, I waited a reasonable time an asked the family where they were consigning his collection. The answer was the auction house of the late Joe Levine. I won it at auction there.



On a previous post I had a typo. When I was dealer I always had 300+ Civil War tokens in stock when I went to a show. Usually it was 400+

 

Yeah this one is really classy with the added touch of the salamander with a brim, too cool!
