    It's a PASS for me. Bad condition plus you can't tell that it's an 1872.

    I think the price is to high for the poor grade. I would hold off for a nicer coin in better condition even if it cost more.

    While I won't address the price (it could be OK considering the coin is a better date), I'd definitely hold out for a problem free example, even if in lower grade.

    That being said, it doesn't look totally awful. It's entirely up to you what you consider acceptable (or not) for your own collection.

    Nay. Too low ball for me.

    NGC has it listed PrAg for $80.00 so it seems like a good price/deal.

    I would like/be happy over the price for this keydate, but I think I would be unhappy with the coin.

    i agree. Enlarged it looks a dead ringer for 1878.

    For a key date, I'd want the date to be clear enough that there is no doubt.
