    A nice Christmas gift I'm going to pass it on to my want list, are you watching Mrs. Clause.

    physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

    So is this basically just another "privy-mark" style coin like the July 4th ones? I can't keep track of them all.

    I think that 9/11 deserves its own proper commemorative coin, but it might be too soon.

    They're apparently only minting 2,983 of these (to honor those that died on 9/11) and realistically I'm not expecting to ever get one (they'll definitely be sold out before I can even get on the site). But glad they're making these.

    I don't guess I understand. The web site says they are selling rolls and bags.

    I just got my bag of 100. I don't normally buy stuff like this, but since it is a special edition with something added, I did. I'll take what I need for my collection and then sell the rest.

    Not certain that's accurate. Based on usmint.gov;

    Mintage Limit: None
    Product Limit: None

    Well that's what I heard but that source might have got that wrong. Seems apparently so.

    EDIT: Found the source of the confusion: these are different than the West Point minted half dollars presented to the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum on Aug. 21. There are only 2,983 of those (no word yet on what they intend to do with them). These ones being sold to the general public (and minted in Philadelphia) have no stated mintage limit but the Mint says they will stop taking orders for them on September 25 at 3pm EDT.

    I ordered a roll of them.
