Help please someone! 1960D Nickle

    1960D nickel with something going on with the rim. I thought it was damage at first till I looked at it closer. Not the best pic but will post more as needed. So as I took a closer look I could see the rim spliting and get wider. Then on the other side of the splitting the metal is like a clump. I do believe is called a cud?     I think you may be correct in thinking it is a cud. If it is there really would not be any premium added, as it is so small. You would need to post a photo of the edge of the coin to make a better judgement. Have you been to this site?

    It is not a cud. It is damage, nothing more!
