    work

McDonald's pays about $6.50 an hour, if you just go through the 2 week training course your will make enough to buy 2 boards or, better yet, one board and some coins. Good luck.

Forgive me, but I'm still confused.

If I walk into your store with a single roll of 1964 Kennedy Half Dollars, are you saying that you'll only pay me $60.00 for the roll even though the "Buy Price" stated on your website would be $83.40?

In turn, your "Sell Price" is listed as $95.44 giving you a profit of $35.44 on that self-same roll? That seems like a VERY considerable profit for a couple of minutes worth of paperwork. Don't you feel that it would be fair to offer your advertised "Buy Price" for any amount of silver that people bring in?

Also, please keep in mind that $4.17 (per 90% silver Half Dollar) is lower than the higher price you pay per $1000 bag (currently $4.40 per Half).

Granted, these prices change dynamically daily based on the price of silver at any given moment, but, correspondingly based upon what you're saying, your "Buy Price" would decrease incrementally.

Perhaps my confusion is based on what you said earlier. For instance, a grocer advertises that he buys tomatoes from local farmers at 30 cents a pound. If I take a pound of tomatoes to him, I expect to be paid 30 cents. If I take 10 pounds to him, I expect to be paid $3.00, etc. I find it disconcerting that he would change his price based upon his "mood".

ok about the mood thing i was using it as an example for the reply about what the people below said and on our website it says that we buy a bag of silver $1000 face for $8,800 and sell that same bag for $9,050 that is a profit of $250 on coins that may sit for a while and at the same time silver may drop making the profit even less and what i ment is we buy based apon quanity even after someone comes in and only has a few coins i tell them that i am paying 6X face for the coins and i also tell them that if they have more that i will pay them close to 8.5X face and they dont have a problem with this because they understand that we have to make a profit to stay in business.

also i forgot to menchon that the prices on our website are for whenever people send in coins and they are required to send at least $1000 dollars worth of coins so it actually is worth our time, try going to browns coins on the southside because ill bet that he wont give more than 4X for your 64 kennedy halves obvesaly you dont understand the coin business very well.

Simple solution. Drill holes in your coins. Run a rod through them all. Connect that rod to a flat piece of wood and you now have a skate board and your coins also.

I find that if you weld a few CC Morgans together, they make nice shiny skateboard wheels.

Please don't insult me. I understand business very well and I understand that you must make a profit to stay in business. But, please don't make off-handed remarks about paying "X" amount of dollars based on your mood. It's unprofessional and turns buyers away from your business.

I didn't realize this young lady was just that. A YOUNG lady.

Guy is right in this case. You can only be a kid once.

If you can't find another way to fix that board and just have to have it. Then go for it.

    Good Luck!

How much to fix or replace the board?

Now that is silly. The reason is you would have to make sure the Morgans are equally worn so the skate board would roll evenly. Then there is the problem of the type of welding. Different welds may cause warping on the now Morgan Wheels. Would the finished product be a Morgan Skate Board?

I think the real question is... how much would you have to pay PCGS to grade it?
