    New coin and video. :)

Japan, Keicho, 1596-1615, AE mon, Keicho Tsuho, cast in Keicho era year 11 (1606), H-3.40 (2.36g)

The Keicho Tsuho was issued around 1606 during the early Edo period under Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. As part of efforts to unify the currency system, this coin was minted in copper, silver, and gold to stabilize the economy after the Battle of Sekigahara.

I skipped over most of the historical section. Numismatic wise, there is more to be desired. Battles were financed with gold and silver, fought bitterly over. This really needed to be in there.
