Okay, I'm posting this so I can try and find out if it's a doubled die....and cracked die. I have a 1974 Washington quarter that appears to have numerous "errors"--at least 15! When I say 15 I mean 15 different characters or areas. Also, it appears to be both on one coin! I hate that there is no way for you to see the coin as I can through my substandard pictures. After thoroughly examining it (several times), I'll see what you have to say! How many errors (I'm using that term loosly, since i'm not sure) can you find???!! From the way I see it, die cracking is supposed to be like little mountains, not valleys. Then again I don't really know what I am talking about. In my eyes I looks like someone coulda been stabbing it at one point in time but then again it's kinda hard to tell. And I don't see doubling either cause it's hard to tell
Also, I have a 1995 cent that may have some kind of Doubling on it. I haven't taken pictures of it yet though. When I do I'll post it. Happy searching!
The crack is raised. This is the first die crack I found. Well Actually my first and second, as it had one on the obverse and reverse! https://goo.gl/photos/vkrrjix1DZHm6EQN7
Okay. Hopefully after I get my magnifier I'll be able to post better pictures. Thank you. I'll try to figure out a way to be able to access my Google photos and not have to post a link. The ones that I previously posted were from photos directly from my phone, and I've since switch to Google photos and haven't figured it out yet.
