Hi everyone I am not sure what it is but I play the scratch off lottery tickets and I have been winning like crazy. I normally win good but not like lately. But I decided to buy $500 in quarters with my lottery wins, I didn’t find anything except for the Kansas state quarter In God We Rust. And a few bicentennial quarters I kept. So I took the quarters back to my bank and asked if they had any silver. “Someone told me to never say that to or educate a bank teller”, the guy said no but someone just came in with 2 half dollar rolls I bought them and found a 1969 Kennedy 40%er.

    Awesome find! I haven't found a single 1969 funnily enough. Found mostly 1967s, I don't know why. Found 4 1967s in a customer-wrapped roll just a few months ago.

When I was a kid, I stopped by a bank and asked if they had anything interesting. The teller put out 2 1967 half dollars and was like, "you mean this?" and I was like heck yeah. My first 40%-ers in the wild.
