I have been putting together some games for ancient coin collectors that you may find fun: https://www.sullacoins.com/games Games available so far: 1) Name that Emperor 2) Guess When the Coin was Minted 3) Guess Where the coin was Minted (Geography game) 4) What Should I read (OK - maybe just a fun was to access my blog and not a game) 5) An Ancient Trivia Game (What do you know?) Will be improving these games and adding new ones in the coming months - any feedback or new ideas for improvements or new games are welcome. Here's my latest coin of interest - and unusual coin form the Time of Magas King of Cyrene. Only 2grams - couldn't resist the gazelle and silphium - only one or two of these known other than this example (in this fractional weight).
Nicely done; well designed and executed. A bit slow loading for me, but that’s likely got more to do with my phone and connection than it does your site. I tried my hand at “Name the Emperor” because I wasn’t terribly confident of my chances with the others. I got 80%. Guess that’s a low “B”. Should’ve done better. OK, that was fun. Guess I’ll try #5- the Ancient Trivia Game- next, but don’t expect me to show my score on the leaderboard if the results are embarrassing.
OK, I started out by attempting it at “Intermediate” level but within the first two questions I could tell I was out of my depth. So I started over on “Beginner” level. Only missed one question, but I confess a couple of my hits were lucky guesses. Wow, you need a SUPER Beginner level! Oh, hey- look! I’m #1, but only by virtue of being the first to play! Good work, Sir.
