Your kind words and prayers are greatly appreciated. Today I want to show 6 different attributed Incomplete Planchet Mint Errors from my collection. Well, it is actually 7. As I was putting the 6 slabs away, I noticed there was one more put away separately from the original 6 Here they are - Incomplete Planchet aka Curved Clip Planchet The slab on the bottom right has two errors listed on the label and it also has a Mechanical Error. NGC put a misspelling - CURVVED Clips Number 7 And I wanted to do a spotlight on this one since it is 90% Silver
I shot a bunch of these a few weeks ago, though mine aren't errors, I do like the coin itself, so I threw it into the discussion. The whole lot looked plain, even dull, in hand, but light them up and they have quite a bit of colour. My colleague wondered if these were artificially toned. Anyone care to speculate?
