Another cautionary thread about fake Morgan slabs

This auction is about to end, messaged seller but it's still going and has several bids. 1881CC "PCGS" Morgan. Everything about it screams fake. Holder is wrong, no hologram, regular obverse, Gold Shield reverse. Coin doesn't match coin in the photos on PCGS verify, coin just looks off and mushy to begin with.

I would post photos but would have to convert html files to jpg and it's too much work.

Yes, it’s an obvious counterfeit coin and slab which now been sold.

 

And the buyer got robbed of $785. If that wouldn't turn you off from the hobby nothing would.
