Modern hobo carving on 1900 Barber dime. The artist called this one “The Helmsman”. Wild card? I reckon the next player could post either 1900 or a Barber dime, or any hobo coin, provided it has a readable date.
This cool cutout was done on a 1971 Ike dollar. Sorry the obverse photo has gone bad on me. Somebody had some skill.
Ok, bringing up a prior conversation on Coin Talk. Is this a good example of planchet roller lines and not PMD or die polish lines? The striations cross both the fields and devices. Also, does that get penalized in grading? Thanks for posting this.
