I am torn between F-15 (the obverse how flat hair looks) and VF-20 (minimum on reverse). So I am going to say VF-20 overall. Another really nice one Eduard.
Yes, I think maybe adjustment marks there? (Edit: on second look, I'm not so sure. Dunno.) Put me down for VF25. Another great early type coin. Keep 'em comin'! You must have some reasonably deep pockets...
I'm solid in the Very Fine camp. But, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say VF-30. And, just to put your mind at ease, I'm no authority on anything, but based on photos of coins with similar wear, I think it would grade a 30, on a good day.
VF-25. They don't look like adjustment marks...just a couple of scratches I think. Very nice coin. Bruce
Thank you, everybody for your comments. I really appreciate your opinions, I take them into account when I catalogue my collection. The two thin parallel lines you see are definitely not adjustment marks, but rather, most probably light scratches. Fortunately, they are very thin and not prominent in-hand, but stick out on a photo. Overall, a nice, pleasing coin of which, I was surprised to be reminded this morning, somewhere between 175 and 250 examples exist for both die varieties combined.
