But Keegan would rather have his owner win the coin and name it after him...
(to be clear...name it Keegan not nyatii)

When will someone finally win the Crusader coin, and who’s it gonna be when that happens? Dunno ‘bout the rest of you, but I’m in suspense! :nailbiting:

I see Keegan is skilled in the Art of the Nap. So is Daisy.

So am I, for that matter, as I’m about to demonstrate in a little while. I feel one comin’ on. ;)

(Don’t worry- there won’t be a photo of that.) :p

Well, whoever wins that coin, if it happens... needs to name it Keegan.

    LOL

I think that’s pretty much happened already! It’s official. :hilarious:

    The name, I mean.

So I took your suggestion and shopped George III shillings. The ones from the 1700s I saw were either too gnarly, too pricey, or both. I did, however, get a later type of George III shilling. This 1816 “Bullhead” shilling has been purchased and will be going into the giveaway goodies store. Same king and denomination as suggested- just a different type.

All told, I’m into this one for $26.50. Might’ve overpaid a tiny bit for this grade, but not enough for me to care. It’s for giveaway, after all. Seems a decent enough circ example. (It’s a CircCam, in fact!)

Anyone has any other $35-50-ish giveaway prize suggestions, I’m listenin’… ;)

I'll take the 1959 Franklin proof Giveaway Lot #250907-20

It's my birth year and it would be fun to have a proof Franklin. I already have (I think) the circulation denominations for 1959.

    Entry post!
If I am chosen, i think for this round I would choose the 1896 Morgan dollar. It's a beautiful piece, and who doesn't love a big silver coin? Also, I figured I'd change it up from the 1922 ANACs graded Peace dollar, since I think I need to do something to change my luck.
Thanks as always for running these contests Rob!

I'm in for the 1943 Lincoln cent. It's a nice strike and I don't have any steelies. Brilliant contest as usual. I finally got around to photographing this one. Regards.

Give one of the reasonable hammered coins to a member of the children's forum who only collects modern circulation issues. Youngest registered would do assuming no spoofs - but say under 10 or whatever. Opens young eyes and hopefully they will start thinking outside the box. The ancient Greek one might be a bit of a turn-off. Keeping it domestic will remove any customs hassle - that is for the future!

Even though I have been collecting since 1947, my ancients collection is minimal! This would make a nice addition!

    Thank you for the opportunity!
