    Fantastic coin.

These can be really tough to grade. I'm thinking VF-20 or 25.

    Edit:
I started looking at graded 1800 Half Dimes and on second thought I think it would actually grade Fine.

It looks VG+ to me but I know that the grading services are generally fairly liberal when it comes to grading coins this old and would likely grade it in the fine category.

I think F-15. I really like the way it looks nice one eduard.

I grade it “lovely”. Very tough type to find in nice middle grade without problems.

When I was searching for a Draped Bust half dime Type coin in the early 2000s, wanting one around F12, I couldn't find a decent one. Everything I saw was either really low-end (AG, Fair, Poor, bent, holed, etc.) ... OR too nice (XF and up and therefore unaffordable to me).

I finally settled on an ANACS G6 that was slightly bent but straight-graded. It was a compromise in my otherwise Fine and up type set.

This one looks to be in that elusive “happy medium” range… Fine-ish, with no major distractions. I'm in the F12 to F15 camp. I'll go out on a limb and say F15.

Tough coin, and a very nice example. Congratulations.

I checked my work on PCGS Photograde.

I’m a bit more confident in the F15 assessment now. Maybe- just maybe- even VF20 on a good day?

Regardless of the technical grade, I grade it “lovely”, like I said. That’s a coin I’d love to own.

VF-25. It’s a nice coin. Many of these pieces are damaged in addition to worn.
