This ought to help you and any other member embarking on this type of journey. 1. Google letters found on the coin; e.g. “Suomi” on coin. Your AI overview answer is Finland. 2. Google Image. Take a picture and have Google Image compare it to it’s cache of stock pictures. This will be the go to for Japanese and Persian-based coins. Stay organized, take pictures of both sides and do 1 coin at a time to avoid overwhelming yourself. 3. After you identify the coin, use NGC World Coin catalog to get specifics. If you want face to face help, it depends where you are! I love to sort through job lots of coins and would be willing to help, but only in the unlikely event of you being in North Devon (England)! If not, the advice from @Spark1951 is your best bet. Google Image search should sort out most of them.

Added for clarification: Google calls their image search app “Google Lens”. I just used it successfully on some Denmark 1 Krone coins and a German Euro nickel minted at Karlsruhe.
