physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Now here is an issue where @Lehigh96 and I have had many an argument.

Strike - 3 out of 5. There is obviously weakness in the steps, and there is quite a bit of high point weakness on jaw and cheekbone.

Luster - The pictures themselves are kinda dark, but I think the luster is quite strong (as I interpret the lighting in the pictures). 4 out of 5

Eye Appeal - Bronze fading to pink and blue on portions of the coin. Blue is always a desirable color. As I'm interpreting the pictures, 4 out of 5

Contact Marks - None to mention. There is some die polish in obverse left field, but it is minor.

Overall grade... I'd give it an easy 66. I do not see full steps in this picture.

However, and this is where Paul and I disagree, I think the marks on the chin preclude a higher grade, but I would not be surprised if they gave it a 67

    I'm guessing 67, no fs.

Not my series, so I haven't got anything intelligent to add in light of that very detailed and revealing analysis. I was gonna just guess 65, but that's due to my natural reluctancy to grade stuff any higher than that (I personally leave the 66-and-up supergrades to the expertise of the TPGs.) But anyway, in old school terminology (if it was raw), I'd call it "Gem BU" and leave it at that.

    Nice Warnick. Nice toning, too.

MS67 or MS68 depending on luster.

Looks like an NGC slab so I'll say 66*.

    MS-66 is my guess.

My luck at GTG is a little different though.

A beautiful war nickel! I’d grade this coin a MS-66, no FS.
