Interesting.. these are some Franklins that just came through the studio. I shot a few dozen of these, and some where rather rough looking. I like this one.
That variety was caused by a die clash. To be a little more specific, it was the eagles wings on the reverse that got onto the obverse. A famous die clash and on the inexpensive side at that. I have one somewhere in all my coins. Do you have that in your collection?
It’s an easy set to assemble and not to costly. Very easy to put a lower grade set together in a Whitman’s folder.
