My 250th Collection to Date

I broke down and bought every one of these as new coins don’t circulate in my area. I’m still needing a few coins from 2025 and even 2024 from change. I just need what hasn’t been released yet except for the third quarter issued from the Denver mint. I even bought the new Whitman’s folder.
I love the look in Jefferson’s eyes on the nickel in my photo. Kind of eerie the way it picked the light up.

I bought a Whitman 250th Anniversary album so that I can have the two-sided slides as I do with my other albums. Otherwise, like you, I have everything that has been released so far. I am also collecting two rolls of every release as well. So, 2026-D Half Dollar x 2; 2026-P Half Dollar x 2, etc., etc. The only concern I have with the album is that it doesn't have any blank open spaces for the Jefferson Quarter with the privvy. Not sure where I am going to put that when I get it.

Odd Desgin Choice is the official motto of the US Mint.

 

Odd design choice... yeah US Mint NO, they could not produce a coin this nice.. The dollar is a Dan Carr Moonlight mint restrike over a 40% ike dollar (they had ASE overstrikes too but they were sold out as quick as dan put em up)

 

Odd yes, US Mint NO.. US Mint does not produce coins that fine.. It is a Dan Carr Moonlight mint fantasy coin overstruck on a 40% ike (he did ASEs too but they were sold out before I got a chance to buy one lol)

 

With the low mintage I’d be putting that in a flip or a capsule for better protection.

 

A coin dealer that I use online. I don’t buy a lot from them.
