I bought this coin from Jonathan Kern in 1986. I saw it advertised in an issue of Coin World, I liked it, so I sent Mr. Kern a fax as I remember to confirm my interest.

VF15 because of the minor rim ding. Cool coin Eduard.

I'll call it F-15. Super cool coin!

Also, I had no idea Kern was selling coins in 1986. I've bought from him at the Derby City show in Louisville, and he seems like a really nice guy with competitive pricing.

I loved his ads in C.W, many coins with pictures, unlike many other advertisers. I bought a number of coins from him back then.
In the days before the internet, printed material, like his ads, were the next best thing.

Thanks for the input, everyone! Glad to see it landing securely around F-15 to VF-20. Appreciate the help with the grading!

Fine-15. The minor rim issues cost it 5 points IMO.

It’s a F-20 but the dings in the rim lower that to F-15. Nice looking coin.
