These are not for me - and a dealer told me wait till I over you spot for that crap. These are not for me. And now I will probably see those shows telling you how rare they are and selling them even higher than the mint. I hate those shows but catch myself watching them every now and then. I really laugh when then tell me how rare they are and it is museum quality cause the Smithsonian only has a MS61 and these are MS63.
I flipped by one yesterday on the 1899P DE. Rick Tomaska was trying to hawk MS62 for $7000 each, saying that they were the same grade as the Smithsonian example. Not to mention that they were the 7 rarest in the series. The 1899 is one of the most common, and PCGS says that they are worth melt value.
