Hello all, Meow just found these yesterday CRH under the couch. One is a 1974 d obverse CUD and a 1958 d/d. This is only the second CUD Meow has ever found. So it seems they are quite hard to find. The RPM is a bit on the underwhelming side, but Meow is quite sure it is genuine. It has a split serif and no shelflike qualities. Meow was unable to figure out which one it was on the Variety Vista listings. Hope you guys like them.

Meow did not know they classified cuds. Meow would put in a holder withe the proper designation but has run out of the holders. They dont seem to sell the kind of holder Meow recently bought anymore. Well, at least the penny one many sellers have been sold out of that size for quite a while. Maybe on fleabay, but Meow has been trying very hard not to buy on fleabay so that is not an option.

Anyone got any ideas of the ID of the d/d?

WOW! There's like 23 of them. Would you say that it's South West? Look at #23. Might be a long shot but give it a gander. 1958-D RPM-023

Meow will agree it seems the like the closest one. Meow will keep a note to be able to label it at later date. Thanks for your feedback. Purrs

@MeowtheKitty show a image of the type of holder you are looking for, as I have some extra holders.

Meow just used the last one Meow had the other day. Meow thinks they don't make them anymore as sellers have other sizes for sale still but sold out of penny size ones. Meow did on Friday 20260707_031109[1].jpg contact a seller about them but received no response yet. Meow was thinking of reluctantly switching to another brand/style. Meow likes the PCGS look over other styles. Guardian makes a similar looking but exactly the same holder. Those are really pricey though. Meow did see some on sale on fleabay, but has been really trying to keep away from the site due to empty Cat pockets. It's been over seven months since Meow anything bought there. The ones Meow had where bought on Amazon, but they have been sold out for many months. Its not like Meow has really valuable finds. But it is nice to display tough or really neat finds like showing off a caught mouse.

The CUD would be really nice to keep in a holder too. Meow now knows there is an actual designation for it. Its only the second one Meow ever found, so it is for Meow quite the rare find. Thanks to @paddyman98 Meows now knows they actually classify them. Meow is actually surprised they designate those.

With MM placement I would say that the CUD is #12.
    Neat finds Meow.
Also a full reverse photo would help nail down which RPM it is.
Too me it looks like RPM-006 stage B

Meow did take a pic of the reverse, as the coin shown in the holder can be verified by a die chip in the left wheat stalk. Meow just somehow missed loading it for this one in this post. Meow learned from identifying the previous one that the reverse can help pinpoint the exact variant. Thanks to @Mr. Numismatist and @SensibleSal66

Your 58D is definitely not 023.

What do think? It definitely is a legit RPM Meow thinks. Maybe it's a unknown variation?

Oh, sorry Meow must have pawed past that part too quickly. So that is what Meow will label it as, if and when Meow can get more holders. Thanks for your help. Purrs.

Meow was trying to fight the OCD and decide on maybe a new holder type since the current one Meow uses in not really available. Meow looked at a bunch of different ones but could not decide. Meow though the coinworld ones where nice but was not really sold on the big green penny holder in it. Meow used Whitman snap locks for a long time but decided Meow wanted to label the cat coin finds better.
