It seems to me like $34 doesn't go far these days. If you bought a coin you like for that, you did good!

Per chatgpt these contain 1/500 oz of gold or a little over $8 at todays spot. Nice little coin you got. First time I have seen once of these. If it was the US mint selling these it would have been 10 times your cost.:)

is a cute coin.. not what I was hoping to get but since they on BIN for 35 raw I won't complain about 34 for a graded one lol

They run 20 coin grab bags on ebay live. Half of them have "gold" so they encourage people to bid over $100 thinking you're getting a substantial (i.e. 1/10th oz + gold something) but then all the gold is these. They never come out and say what the gold is, just blow through cutting open all the grab bags at the end to see if you got the big hit.

I'm sure theres a strong premium over melt for them. Somebody still has to make them and it's $20 to get them in a slab. I played this week. I'm hoping my "gold" win is at least 1/500th. Was trying for a high graded Morgan but didn't hit it. A lot of people come away with graded Kennedy halves and graded modern quarters for $50 a piece.
They start each one at $1 and go so that's what people bid them up to. Mine was $38. I like what you got.
