It would never be worth $750 even if the mintage number was one!

Absolutely not for me, but that's not to say it wouldn't be for someone else.

Just grabbed a nearly legit 2023 Peace PF 70 UC. Less than 90$. I don't play the hype game. I would rather wait for the market to catch up.

I can find much better ways to spend $750 on than that over priced US Mint item.

How do you personally define "worth it"? You love that hideous coin-ish thing and just have to have it and don't care about money, or you're looking to make a profit on it, or?

Well.... I would say that is entirely personal. I am currently making plans to spend several thousand on a small amount of silver. But that coin haunts my dreams. If that bell appeals to you then by all means buy it. On the other hand, if you are looking to trade the piece for financial gain, that is a crapshoot.

It's apparently a very profitable quick flip. Emphasis on quick - I expect it'll have the shelf life of warm milk.

Personally I would be reluctant to spend $75 on one.

Not for me. Just think of all the other fun coins to be had for 750.

There were many “special edition “ limited issue proof coins and sets marketed in the UK in the 70’s and 80’s and my father bought them all. This was by The Royal Mint the oldest and most “honourable “ mint in history. Without going into complex math, they sold for 20 cents on the dollar 40 years later. He would have made more money buying a lump of tin or copper. In respect of the gold/silver ratio your ancestors may get lucky but my advice is avoid Shyters and buy reality and not Hype.

To me, it's just junk. The mint could not get any worse.
