I just got off the phone with a Mint Representative and am in disbelief over what I've been told. I have a subscription for: Peace Silver Dollar Proof Coin Morgan Silver Dollar Proof Coin I do NOT have a subscription for these coins in Reverse Proof However, orders for both Reverse Proof coins have been shipped! The Mint told me that the Proof coins would only be available this year in a 2 coin set, and that subscriptions for the individual Proof coins were being filled by substituting the Reverse Proofs in their place. My only recourse? Wait for delivery and request returns! Additionally, I'm told that the Morgan and Peace Dollar Two-Coin Set... https://www.usmint.gov/morgan-and-peace-dollar-two-coin-set-subscription-NL.html ...will contain the Proof Coins that I wanted, but nowhere in the description of this product is that specified. It only states: "The Morgan and Peace Dollar Two-Coin Set contains one Morgan Dollar Coin and one Peace Dollar Coin with stunning finishes" The Mint Rep assures me that they are in Proof finish, but in the midst of all this confusion I don't know what to believe. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation???
bait and switch.. file a complaint with your state attorney general. It is easy to do on the attorney general website but you will have to upload screenshots of emails and such.
