This was a purchase about 36 years ago at Ponterio's. The New Orleans 1838 dime is more common than the half dime, but an interesting issue nevertheless as the first O-mint dime.
I think there’s a little too much where a Liberty shoulders To be an AU grade so I will say EF – 45. It does have a low mileage and it’s a very nice looking coin. Congratulations on picking that one up 36 years ago.
Still is my candidate for the "perfect" US coin design. A seated lady Liberty with no stars or motto to clutter up her beauty is just the absolute perfect design. One day I'll be able to get me a Gobrecht dollar to enjoy all her splendor...... Lovely coin and I agree with @Collecting Nut at EF45.
