    Very good, my friend. I learn something new quite often from you. I never heard of a Lunula. Glad to see eat it was. Thanks for the link.

    This is what Google says about the Trachy.

    This ancient Byzantine coin is a billon Aspron Trachy featuring a distinctive concave "cup" shape and a seated figure of Christ.
    Ruler: Issued under Emperor Manuel I Comnenus between 1143-1180 AD.
    Design: The obverse depicts a bearded, nimbate Christ seated on a throne, holding the Gospels.
    Composition: Made of billon, a debased alloy of silver and copper.

    @galba68 Truly an excellent trachy with outstanding details! Congrats!

    I have these types in my collection, but my favorite is actually an un-cleaned one. It's basically "as found", but obviously all the major muck has been removed.
