    This is what Google says about the Trachy.

    This ancient Byzantine coin is a billon Aspron Trachy featuring a distinctive concave "cup" shape and a seated figure of Christ.
    Ruler: Issued under Emperor Manuel I Comnenus between 1143-1180 AD.
    Design: The obverse depicts a bearded, nimbate Christ seated on a throne, holding the Gospels.
    Composition: Made of billon, a debased alloy of silver and copper.
