This one is in better shape than the one above it. I wonder why the difference and why do they grade them so tough?
Congrats....the $500 ran you about $3K, give-or-take ? I was surprised that $1,000 bills weren't as pricey relative to the $500's when I perused the HA archives (have to do GC, too)....I think that was because circulated $500's in lower grades got bought up during Covid and the price curve "kinked upwards" for the lower bill. But for 60's bills in high grade, you clearly had price separation.
yes it did run a bit over 3K. Could have gotten a much more worn one for around 1700 but I wanted a nicer version.
