One of my more recent acquisitions happens to be slabbed, so I thought I'd post a guess-the-grade here. Bahamas 1966 1 Dollar PCGS photo: My photo:
That is a very pretty Coin, the design and toning work beautifuly together. the toning though makes it hard to grade from pics. in the pics the high points show almost silver, hinting at minor rub. If it is rub i'd say AU58 all day. If it's not rub but just an effect of the toning (which could be seen in hand), I could go 63 maybe even 64 So best Guess from me is it wears a 58
Mum did go on outings in the Royal Yacht. At least until the Sex Pistols started following her down the Thames and screaming through a bull horn.
Well there's one you don't see every day. Great color. I don't see anything in the pictures that would keep it from 65. Cool coin.
Nice one. I actually have one of these in blast white that I got as a gift for Christmas as a kid back in the 90s. First one I've seen since. These are 92.5%. NGC says a 406,000 mintage. I'd guess yours is a 65.
I've never photographed this one. Maybe I should get mine graded. Posted for your information since mine's raw.
That's a beauty! I'm puzzled though by the silver content. According to Numista and NGC, it should be .800 fine! Was there a special issue of sterling pieces, or is Numista and NGC wrong? A question for @7Jags .
