2008? I believe the copper plated zinc cents actually lasted until 2012 when they were replaced by dilithium plated kryptonite. I could be wrong.

 

Either the price on the 1980-D or the 1992, close AM.

 

I think it is the 1982S small date. I’ve always thought the proof was a large date.

Footnote (b) describes the Wide AM but the listings with (b) are Close AM?

 

Correct. You noticed the misprint that I noticed. In every other reference (including an actual 1982-S proof coin in my possession) says the 1982S is a large date.

I don't know if you are correct or not. I have not looked into it. I only posted this because I noticed the "1982S Small Date" misprint. Thanks for playing! lol

 

Older Red Books actually never specified whether the 1982S proof was a large or small.
