The 01-S is the 2nd of 5 key dates for the series. The first thing I thought was cleaned, which is normal for old silver. If it was an old cleaning it would have retoned by now. As for the grade I see a lot of 45s but I think it is 40 at most and possible VF 35. The reason is cleaning makes a coin look a little better than it actually is. So I am VF-35/ EF-40 cleaned.
