    Good morning!

A friend of mine asked me to come over to his house to metal detect in his yard to help look for a key he lost. Unfortunately, we did not find it. However, I hit a nice 50/51 signal and decided to dig into it. Here is what I found:

This is the first silver coin I have ever dug out of the ground here in the States (I found a silver coin in Morocco). I did not have much time to look over the site very thoroughly, but I have permission to go back again sometime.

Congratulations. Nice find. Keep it up in that same location.
Where there is one there could be more!

Terrific find! Much better than my first silver: a 1936 Mercury dime.

I don't get the old stuff cause am just getting recent drops. My 1952 dime is not in this photo. The buff is a fried 1928 and the bottom right is a dateless Canadian dime but it could be around 1920. The first silver I ever got was one of those Mercs. So that was very exciting.
