I am helping out a friend cataloguing a coin collection, most of which is British post 17th century and so easy for me. This little silver piece is amongst it. It looks possibly Celtic or could be Middle Eastern or anywhere! Weighs 3.1g, measures 15mm across and 1.5mm thick.
Yes, I tried image search for the first time just now and got the same result: India/Afghanistan area, 800 - 1000 AD. Anyone able to be more precise?
