Maybe you need to move to MA, like the rest of the crazies. :wacky:

Nothing in circulation in my area either. The mint is sold out but I bought them from a dealer.
I’m a nut but I’m not crazy so I’ll stay in PA. :woot::smuggrin::)

I asked my bank if they had any rolls of any of the new 250 designs. I got a blank look. They had no idea there were supposed to be new coins this year. They also said they rarely order coin rolls now since most everything is non cash transactions and they aren't needing them as much. Probably going to have to buy whatever I want I guess.

I did and I’m sure others have and will do the same.

The mint is making them The problem is that the banks just don't need them so they are sitting in vaults. It will probably take until 2028 before all of em get out of the vaults

Keep in mind too that the bicentennial quarters were minted for two years. That’s why there are no quarters dated 1975. I rather with the mint would have don’t the same for the 250 year quarters.

That's because the mint has sold them all in rolls and bags for more than face value. These pieces melt for well less than a quarter. Shame on the mint for not getting these coins out to the people. The mint is "the Grinch which has stolen the Semi Quincentennial numismatic celebration.”

I received in my coffee change this morning my 7th Pilgram quarter. They are probably releasing these coins much like McDonald's releases their Monopoly game pieces. You'd have to travel through all 50 states in order to have a chance at getting a variety of Semi Quincentennial coins in your change. Obviously in the geographical location I am residing in, they've released the Pilgram quarters in large quantity. I've seen nothing else in my change related to the 250 years coinage except for this specific quarter.

So far I’ve gotten $3 in these quarters. So what are the odds that I get only this design? No other coins, just the quarter.

I bet they released into circulation other design on the east coast and another design north and south and another design in the Midwest. If not, why just this one design am I finding in my change?

Because you are fortunate. I still haven’t seen a single 2026 coin in circulation in the years half over. I still need some 2024 coins and 2025 coins, but I haven’t seen them in circulation either.
