    Looks like another coin was pressed into it.

    Another coin was stacked on top of it and some oxidizing liquid was stuck between the two, hence the darker tone. Rims look intact, so probably not pressed together?

    I also think another Cent was stuck to it and when they were separated it made that appearance. Just know that it's not a mint error of any kind unfortunately.

    Possibly a cup holder coin.

    The insides are made out of zinc. That's what is wrong with it.
