Scammer Gets Gold Coins Made of Chocolate!

    Smart, upright coin store owner saved the lady's fortune. Working back to try and get the ringleaders in India probably will go nowhere. However, the guy that was arrested probably has accomplices in the U.S.

    Still surprised how many elderly still fall for these scams. Every issue of AARP magazine has stories and warnings about these scams. But not all elderly belong to AARP or read the magazine. And many grew up in an era where international scammers weren't a thing.

    Would really like to see a law forcing phone companies to not allow caller ID spoofing. It can be done, but there would be some upfront expense.
