Nearly halfway through the year and I've seen one 2026 nickel and that's it. I do almost all of my transactions by cash so I'm surprised I haven't seen more.
I won't pay a premium for a modern circulating coin so if I don't find any I don't get any.

CoinCorgi Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit!

One quarter here in SoCal. It sucks and I deem it noncollectable. I'm a curmudgeon.

    I need more bacon.

I found two of the 1776 - 2026 nickels in a bag search yesterday, couldn't give a care - what was exciting was the really nice 1928 Buffer.

I ended up paying mint prices (but not from mint) for a roll of the mayflower quarters and liberty dimes.. the dimes being the ones I really cared about

These are from the most recent as of yesterday $200 bag of nickels from my credit union. Not in the picture are the $7.50 in quarters that were in the nickel bag. There is a 1928, a '35-S two dateless, the Jeffs are all either 1939 or 40 S mints a couple of proofs and the two 2026 dated coins. I've gotten a couple of quarters also but spent them as I will do with the 2026 nickels. Kind of bummed that there were no war nickels in this bag but I've been averaging 3-4 a bag.

This is the latest I can remember getting current year dated coins in circulation. I remember getting a bicentennial half in change in the summer of 1975 when I was really young and bought fruit at a fruit stand - halves did circulate a little bit back then. I thought it was neat to get a coin dated 1976 in 1975.

Literally less than 10 miles from the Denver Mint and still have not found any 2026 coins in circulation except for dimes, and not very many of those.

Still haven't even found 2025 quarters past Stacey Milbern yet either for that matter. Still looking!

I went and checked and found that's the only 2025 quarter I have as well, though I do find dimes and nickels here and there.
