The $110 version "bulk handled" is sold out... did anyone happen to catch when that happened?

  6. I think these are often produced sporadically and not really intentionally. I have heard that these are made if he notices some of the high grade not meeting high grade standards and then he shakes them around in a bag of nickels to give them the bulk handled look. In other words, they may show up again or never again.

I think a few might have been up last night. They aren't sold out though, just out of stock. The bulk handled are created when he strikes the high grade version. If any coins have imperfections or don't meet his criteria after the strike he sets them aside and once there's enough he shakes them around in a bag of nickels and offers them as bulk handled versions. So keep looking. There will probably be more available unless he's done or close to being done striking high grade examples.

In addition to the high grade 1917 Peace restrike, that just graded 69 at ANACS, and is on its way home, I just got the 2 ounce Silver round of the issue. Seller's picture, until the token arrives:

    Finally received this Air-tite:

This Air-tite is available from many sources, like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NRBD7PY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Inside depth (5.49mm) is fine. But the black ring is slightly too big (50.8mm) for this 50mm token.

So I inserted a tiny wedge of that black stuff, to keep it snug & rattle-free.

But maybe there's another Air-tite that fits exactly?

Just got my two ounce 1917 Fantasy Silver round token. Really like it. No, ANACS will not slab them, so I will have to get my own holder that is big enough to fit a very large coin.

Pretty damn cool ain't they. You can't really get a feel for them until you see one in hand.

Yeah, it is really impressive. The two ounce setting with the border really gives it a "museum" quality to it. Love the surfaces. Going to look nice in a monster airtite, or one of the "do it yourself" slabs.

Since anacs won't slab them I'm toying with the idea of setting mine on a window sill for a while to see what happens.

Been toying with that too. But using one of the Morgan or Peace overstrikes though.
