These "Coins of Ireland" animal coins were sold in sets in the 1950's and my father bought two of them.

Great topic. I have some coins too add.
Mark Newby farthing featuring st.Patrick. Sorry about the condition of its flip. Mark Newby actually was born close to me in north east england before he fled to Ireland in fear of religious persecution before heading to NJ

Here are a few proofs, mostly very recent and apologies for some very bad photos where the camera is as clear as the coins :D The best two photos weren't taken by me!

Nothing special about mine. Just pocket change from my wife's trip to Ireland with me from last year.

A September 1689 gun money shilling, ex Jonathan Kern.
My birthday falls on the turning point between March 1689 and March 1690. If I had nothing else to collect I guess I could get one of each “month” and say one was minted on my birthday. Or St. Patrick’s Day.
I also have a 1953 threepence in my collection somewhere, and all the decimal designs. Now I just need a sixpence. I like the threepence and sixpence’s designs the best out of all the designs for some odd reason.
