If it was my coin and I sent it to NGC they would call it scratched. Is it a raised line?

Looks like someone took a very sharp blade and passed it at an angle on the surface. To straight to be a Die Crack

I don't think so. I felt it with my nail and couldn't feel anything. I tried to rub it off, as if it were something left on the coin, but it wouldn't rub off.

Doesn't feel like a raised line.

Might it be some sort of problem with the planchet? An in perfection in/on the strip it was punched from perhaps. That type of "error" would not be raised.

The left end goes under the P/PLURIBUS. The middle and right end rides on top of the hair, cotton bolls and 2nd U/UNUM.

So, it looks like a scratch or planchet flaw of some type. Somehow, the scratch failed to mar the P of PLURIBUS, OR, if a planchet flaw, the striking process did not lessen the flaw. Probably the scratch.

    Best theory I have…Spark

Maybe the line is just untoned along a packaging fold
