I ordered sixty bucks worth of self slabs for a project I am about to undertake. According to UPS they were due to deliver Tuesday. Well, that was perfect because I wanted to take my boy fishing at the coast. Yesterday we had torrential rain and I didn’t know it, but UPS delivered my sixty bucks worth of slabs and left them on my porch two days early. I just got home and found a deteriorated pile of mush that once was a box when I got home. Sure hope I can salvage this mess.
Sorry to hear about that, Randy. I should think that if they're carefully dried and set out for a few days to "really" dry they would be okay. Good luck. Bruce
I think that I would take that box to my local UPS store and tell them that you are refusing it. I’d wait a few months and reorder them. Sorry that happened to you.
I used to have a lot of respect for the work the USPS did. In the past several years I've lost all of that respect and more. While there are exceptions to be sure, in general I haven't yet figured out which is their core competency . . . greed, sloth or stupidity.
